He leaves a big hole, if we get a football person like Crippa in to handle the list management etc we would need a 2nd person to cover the other areas .
How do other clubs survive without Ameet?
How many lawyers do you know that also perform list management duties and a COO role in the AFL?
Seems to be it was a unique set up by us whether that was cost saving exercise or maximising his skill set I am not sure.
Either way moving forward looks likely we will be re structuring post Bains.

He was certainly Ameet in the sandwich

At least we made finals when Lyon was here.
I didn't make an opinion on his levels of performance I just stated the facts on what his roles at the club were.
Do you think mate that if he just got the job as a CEO of a club that won a premiership a year ago he may have done a reasonable job?!
In the list management area there were some mistakes in my opinion but that would be a football department decision collectively that he was a part of.
Lewis Pierce, Nathan Wright contract extensions in my opinion were puzzling.
Overall the guy is well respected but he has moved on and so will we.

You make the word negative sound positive compared you your posts. Surely we are going that bad as a club. May not have won the gf for many years but anyone under 30 has had a pretty good run for a while anyway negative away
Rumour also has it Phil Narkle is returning as a helmet consultant for Paddy.
Someone to knock some sense into Paddy.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

said on SEN that Matt Rendell will be joining Crippa at the Saints in a recruiting role.
He was vague of course.

Jason Cripps will remain at Port Adelaide as list manager, the former Saint having decided not to pursue a senior position at St Kilda.
Cripps, a former St Kilda player and assistant coach, was among the candidates for a senior role in St Kilda’s football department, which could be revamped following the exit from the Saints of incoming Western Bulldogs chief executive Ameet Bains.
The Saints will hire someone to replace Bains, who was chief operating officer and was involved in football and commercial operations , but club sources said they had not decided whether they would create a new position as head of football or appoint someone to a different football role in another structure.
If a senior football department head is appointed, he would sit above St Kilda football manager Jamie Cox.
