Interesting that one of the options in this poll, Charlie Constable, was available at 35.

But we overlooked him in favour of Oscar Clavarino.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Geelong got Constable. So he will probably end up good.

Yep because the AA CHB Mr Gloves was available. Do you want 13th best midfielder or the BEST Key Defender? Easy answer we did great.
Same with PATON you want the BEST back pocket AA or a 15th midfielder or 8th best forward.

We didnt get any short asses we got the BEST players in their role. Fantastic. Dont win flags getting the 10th best of their position.

Constable was named on the half back flank in the AA team. Your argument makes no sense.

Constable is a contested clearance machine but there is a big question mark over both his speed and endurance.

Stephen Wells admitted that he is a long way off being ready for AFL.

Not saying knightmare is the be all and end all.
But interesting that two of his top 10 ranked players went to the reigning Premiers. Higgins & Balta. Tigers would be pinching themselves.
Knightmare had Constable quite high too.
Crows will be also pleased with getting Fogarty. Might make up for the loss of Lever. Especially if Doedee comes good for them.
Crows and Tigers should be back up the top again in 2018 unless injuries or attitude hurt them.

Tigers will only be pinching themselves if they ranked them same as Knightmare did, which I highly doubt.

Sounds like they did well though.

Don't think Higgins is what we needed.

Agree. Just making conversation.
Naish at 34 was also not a bad get for them.

Of course. It’s all conversation. Conversation is good.

Agree, think they did well but theoretically we should have done better.

Well anyway, that’s what we’re all hoping.

No matter how well the other blokes turn out (and I wish them well)... Bonar-will-be-better. Really pissed off at that! :x
Sorry man but I don’t see it...

His highlight reel shows his disposal is suspect, not a great decision maker... only thing impressive about him was his size but that said, plenty were able to shrug off his tackles

I reckon we dodged a bullet big time
Sorry skep', I'm just not seeing that suspect disposal, soft tackling, nor poor decision making(?) :? Totally the opposite in fact. (And at least Bonar tackles - unlike someone else. Serious question. Are you sure that you weren't watching that bloke's highlights?)

I am seeing... a powerful player with real X-factor. And wasn't X-factor what we were supposedly seeking? (And unlike some, there's no way this bloke would be wilting in the red hot cauldron of a fierce grand final.)

I simply can-not-believe we didn't grab this bloke.
