I reckon he looked pretty promising.

with Higgins or someone fleet of foot
(Monty did that with Kosi the week before Kosi's last game, so Kosi would get picked,

Paton's highlight reel is very underwhelming, especially when compare to Joel Garner, who was still available

Paton is a dead ringer for Baily Rice the way he plays... Not sure why we need another of the type

Absolutely bizarre that we would pass on Joel Garner at that pick.cwrcyn wrote:Paton's highlight reel is very underwhelming, especially when compare to Joel Garner, who was still available

Could always pick up another couple of small forwards seeing as the two previous batches have been so good!DJ Higgins wrote:this draft is disappointing for me. 3 half back flankers and one key back. WTF

Re: Live draft thread
maybe richo has hatched a cunning game plan, modelled on the all blacks, of running the ball up from the back 50 in a single line, dishing off horizontal or backwards handballs the entire way? worth a shot!?

Use your eyes.
3.18 in the 20m sprint at the draft combine.
Knighmare lists this as a weakness.
To my naked eye he looks very slow.
If you can provide evidence to rebut my three points - then be my guest and I will change my opinion.
Just saying 'I have no idea'. Or saying 'hes not slow' is not evidence.
Or dont you think you need evidence? Are your opinions so great they require no supporting evidence whatsoever?

He just got drafted and was rated Top 10 last year. Doesn't happen if your slow intercept defender. Have seen him live and slow he ain't.Con Gorozidis wrote:Can you back up your opinion?CURLY wrote:Most had Clark and Coffield with our picks. Re: Live draft thread
Excuse my lack of posting, but of these four selections, can any of them kick a football? That is my main question and should be the main reason for selection. Every player in the first three rounds should want it, but I only want players that can deliver a football
St. Kilda Football Club. Going strong, since 1960
