Re: A quick hello to Playon
I am incredibly saddened to read of Playon's passing. My deepest condolences to his wife and kids. I really hoped he would win his cancer battle and unashamedly my emotions have got the better of me right now. You could tell from his posts that he was a class act and a great bloke. RIP Playon.

Re: A quick hello to Playon
Hi Mrs "Playon".
Just wanted to add my condolences.
Hopefully it is of some comfort to you and your family that so many people have been touched by his passing and have bothered to follow this thread and express their sympathies.

Re: A quick hello to Playon
Such awful, awful news. Thank you for taking the time at such a difficult time for your family to let the posters on this site know the sad news.
I’m so moved by the description of the smile on his face when he spent some time with some of the Saints. I’m so glad he could find some positive things to focus on at such an otherwise dark time.
RIP Playon, a true Sainter. Wishing your family peace and strength. Your courage won’t be forgotten.

Re: A quick hello to Playon (update: Playon RIP)
I'm so sorry for your loss. When the time's right I hope you'll be able to think of him and smile because I'm sure that's how he deserves to be remembered - not so much good bye as good memories. And for what it's worth I like to think we only ever really die when they speak our name for the last time, and a candle loses nothing if it helps light another. So I hope you can apply the lessons he taught, live his legacy, and keep doing him proud.
Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

Re: A quick hello to Playon (update: Playon RIP)
Must say this thread moved me and really left me amazed at how the tribal family of a football club, even when many members may never meet or know each other, transcends everything into something that is ultimately good.
