Its on AFL website. He has officially requested a trade to the Saints and is good mates with Jack Steele.
This trade will slide through easily and early.

says it all. Doesn't stand out at SAFL and not good enough for powers top 22. Only get him if it really cheap and as a back up player for injured players. I would rather not get another list clogger

It was a bloody good guess, but it absolutely was not out of left field. Jaxons gave a very good hint which narrowed it down to a small number of defenders at port. CQS guessed it (great guess, much credit), but Jaxons confirmed it immediately.Drake Huggins wrote:I don't doubt Jaxons, but let's not let fantasy get in the way of truth, kft. Michelangelo Rucci, The Advertiser wrote: St Kilda makes late trade play for young Port Adelaide full back Logan Austin
CONTRACTED Port Adelaide defender Logan Austin is wanted by St Kilda in a late play in the AFL trade period.
Austin, 22, is being promised more game time at St Kilda as the Saints seek to add to their defensive options after trying to sign GWS Giants defender Adam Tomlinson.
Austin, a fourth-round draft pick in 2014, is one of three Power players who could find new home in today’s frantic rush to the 1.30pm deadline to the close of the trade period.
Specialist forward Aaron Young is expected to score his trade to Gold Coast. And ruckman Matthew Lobbe yesterday joined Carlton’s wish list while Brisbane continued to haggle over the contract that he carries from Alberton and does not expire until the end of 2019.
Austin has played 13 AFL games in two seasons with Port Adelaide - and just two this year when his role in defence was taken by Tom Clurey.
Port Adelaide does hold the upper hand in any trade talks with St Kilda by holding Austin to a contract for next season. But the Power has emphasised in a busy trade program its willingness to move on players who are seeking more opportunity elsewhere.
So far, Port Adelaide has traded contracted forward Jarman Impey to Hawthorn, uncontracted midfielder Brendon Ah Chee to West Coast and released restricted free-agent utility Jackson Trengove to the Western Bulldogs.
The Power has drawn in contracted Melbourne key position player Jack Watts and free agents, midfielder Tom Rockliff (Brisbane) and midfielder-forward Steven Motlop (Geelong).
The trade period is facing a dramatic ending with deals still to be secured for Brownlow Medallist Gary Ablett in a go-home move to Geelong from Gold Coast and estranged Western Bulldogs forward Jake Stringer to Essendon.

Here's a guy who comes on here with humility, not big noting and beating his own drum, just sharing info and people can't just accept it for what it is and allow others to enjoy that.
Apart from the pasting Jaxons has copped on here, I and various others are in the past few weeks according to those who aren't blinded by the light - an arse licker, a gullible sheep, projecting my messiah complex and swooning over a false prophet. Thanks guys. Champions each and every one of you.

It's no biggie.
Important thing here is do we need this person? What would we offer? Any expectancy on Ports side?
Is the leg now repaired without any future issue expected? Late trade deal could provided some risk but may also be a great opportunity if his kicking is as good as stated earlier.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

He confirmed AFTER someone nominated. I have a bridge for sale, MCG. Great revenue, connects the northern and southern suburbs of Sydney. Honestly, what is it about Messiahs? Are you so fragile that you can't take a bit of truth about your hero? I value Jaxons, but slavish devotion, beyond any realistic criticism is a cult. It's only an internet forum, and some are carrying on as though it's life and death. If it makes you feel better, I concede. Jaxons is the Messiah, right about everything and I will not stain his immaculate reputation with facts.

Re: Logan Austin
Mods can I make a suggestion for next year...
2 years ago was the first Jaxons come on down thread.
Then last year it made a comeback and it was a fun call back to the year before.
Now it appears that the name in the title is simply drawing too much negative attention towards a poster that ain't asking for this much in the way of fan fare
If someone launches another thread next year, can we just call it a trade rumour thread or something

the only people I see using the word messiah are people like you. Everyone else just thinks that Jaxons is well connected at the St. Kilda football club and gives good inside knowledge before it is in the media. That certainly does not make him anything worthy of worship. It just makes his posts about trades far more interesting than posts talking about him and posts that invent rubbish about people who would like him to keep posting.

Wow! A footy forum. Get a life. We're arguing over who got what right or wrong or may have not. I concede. I'm almost as big of a half-wit for arguing as those defending their guru. I'm wrong.
