I believe that in 2018 that clubs can freely play rookies in the seniors and if so there is no need to elevate Marshall.
Ok. Good to know.
Do we really need five ruckmen on the list?
We need at least one ruckman on the list.
At the moment we don't have any.
Just 5 maybe one days.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

What if he's not there by the time St Kilda picks?

Oct 16:
7 - Bonar
8 - Brayshaw
Brayshaw very stable will definety make it. Got 250 gamer written all over him. Massive Endurance, got some
Pace wins his own ball and decision maker.
Bonar could be anything - could be the best of the draft. Think we should take the risk with him.
1 safe and 1 risk. Bont Judd - both considered risks at the time.
"The Saints have offered the contracted Tomlinson a four-year deal to join them but have told the Giants their two first-round draft picks – selections 7 and 8 – are not available and they would offer their future second-round pick and possibly a third-round pick this year for the player."
Any possibility of Hickey being traded to GWS if Mumford retires as part of a deal for Tomlinson?

I wouldn't care about losing 2nd and 3rd round draft picks for Tomlinson.
I also like Hickey but we are not short of rucks. You have to give a little to gain something.

I don't understand how this list doesn't infuriate fans at the prospect of taking both 7 & 8 to the draft.
It stinks. And there is nothing to suggest it will change this year. Putrid decision from the club to even take the chance.
Keep 7, shop 8 for a known quantity and hedge your bets. Or trade both for pick 3 and pick 20 odd and get me Jack Watts who is better than >50% of players on this sh*tful list.
’09: Brad Shephard (7) and John Butcher (8)
’10: Josh Caddy and Dyson Heppell
’11: Nick Haynes and Billy Longer
’12: Ollie Wines and Sam Mayes
’13: James Aish and Luke McDonald
’14: Paul Ahern and Peter Wright
’15: Jacob Hopper and Callum Ah Chee
’16: Jack Scrimshaw and Griffin Logue

It's a lottery. No guarantee at all that a top ten pick is going to turn into a quality player.
