Terry Wallace- the Mango Mercenary- says Watts is unreal with the ball in hand, 'a great finisher inside F50' but 'it's what he does off the ball that's questionable'
so maybe he's a lazy downhill skier.
Yeah, Wallace, hard to take him seriously, hey- but he sounds right in this case

2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn

Agreed MT. I think Terry Wallet is right in this instance. Great with the ball in hand, an elite kick. Great size, moves well, good overhead. It must be attitude or some off-field stuff. My son knows some in Jack's social circle and he tells me it is a lack of dedication and a love of partying. Doesn't take the whole AFL thing too seriously, apparently. The man has great talent. Is Richo the sort of "developer of young men" type of coach who could get him to extract the digit?MickThomas wrote:Terry Wallace- the Mango Mercenary- says Watts is unreal with the ball in hand, 'a great finisher inside F50' but 'it's what he does off the ball that's questionable'

I'd have a serious crack at him if it didn't mean trading away 7 or 8. He could be the bargain of the century. If. He wasn't pick 1 for no reason. Paddy is suffering from the same expectations that sobriquet brings. Imagine having him play a BJ, quarterback, distributor role. We lack that at the moment. He's also a good intercept mark. Imagine having him and Carlisle to use as swingmen between defense and attack. I say have a crack, saints. Use your imagination!

"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

A player with elite ball skills - get him, bugger the party stuff, just tell him to turn up on game day with not too much of a hangover.

I'd rather get Stanley back!!! Geelong should take him. They could alternate.
