Judd, Selwood, Lever, Burton, Witherden... Bonar?
Pleny of stars have slid in the draft due to injury in their draft year... including Judd, Selwood, Lever, Burton and Witherden (not yet a star but looking very much like he slid)
Will Aiden Bonar be the next?
Clearly has all the tools. A beast who is fast strong and has a big leap and great kick
Eased into it this year after 2 years out of the game... no surprise that he did not star straight away but built his season steadily
Will he be the steal of this draft?
Very very likely to be available at our picks.
do we pounce at pick 8?
Is it a punt?
If so, is it worth the risk?
Could well end up an absolute star and with his tools including speed and tackling youd think at worst he could play a Weller type role
Whilst at best he could play a Dustin Martin role of being a beast who can spread and hit targets
Take the punt i'd say!
There may be slightly safer options but there are no guarantees in this game and none will have such a high potential of payoff

did his knee... first repair did not take so it had to be re-doneSpinner wrote:Why did he miss two years?
lots of rehab and eased into it after returning mid-year
Was rated near the top of the year at u16 level, possibly at the very top
Has returned as a beast and is skilled

Trade picks for a player like Motlop or Tomlinson. Draft is a waste of time

Don't know, but I'm told he can rise to the occasion when excited.bigcarl wrote:Linton Lodger wrote:Love the name, is it pronounced Bonner or Boner?

"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

We'd be stiff if we couldn't get him up.Drake Huggins wrote:Don't know, but I'm told he can rise to the occasion when excited.bigcarl wrote:Linton Lodger wrote:Love the name, is it pronounced Bonner or Boner?
