Collective nouns for supporters
What would you call a group of sainters? A "Suffering" of ........saints? (Insert team)
GWS - An "Absence"...... of Giants
Collingwood - A "Sewer" of filth fans.
Melbourne - A "Slope" of Dees. Takes care of the skiing angle and the downhiller bit as well.
Adelaide - A "Murder" of Crows. Obviously, especially if that murder involves multiple victims and weird sexual practices.
You get the drift. Go to it SS!

"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."

Coming from someone I know is a legend of the site, I'll take that as a compliment. Sorry takeaway, but you're wide of the mark. Long time reader, first-time poster. Didn't mind WW but he lima'd the papa (lost the plot) a bit towards the end. An unedifying end to a decent posting career. It's only an internet forum, FFS.loris wrote:Whoever ‘tis ........ The collective noun for a large group of snowboarders sitting down across a piste so that no-one can pass is an "abomination of snowboarders".
That could be used for any of the other 17 clubs as in an "abomination of rival supporters".

so do I .
Ian Drake was one of my father's best mates.
He used to stay with us on his visits to Tassie.
He was also the first adultIi heard use the f*** word.
He was a bit aghast when he looked up and saw me standing there.
So maybe I can put my potty mouth down to his bad example.
I also knew Huggins pretty well but he was always Mr Huggins to me.
