Oh when the crows go marching in!
I was there as a 21 year old at the 1997 Grand Final.
When we lost the crows fans sang oh when the crows go marching in!
I cannot contain my joy at Adelaide losing the granny today!
I hope this burns and hurts for a long long time !
Ahhhhh...it feels good! It's taken 20 years but I feel good.
Call me better and twisted but f*** em!

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Yep, I have zero sympathy for the Crows supporters.

Re: Oh when the crows go marching in!
Yes.....we fellow sainters have the same long memory
It was the day after the 1997 grand final over in Adelaide when the crow player Hart (surname) sang "Oh when the crows going marching in" to the the crowd
It still sits poorly with me & obviously some other sainters, & still don't believe he & media thought it was funny....he did the same thing with the north song the following year in 1998

That 1997 song bastardisation was a disgraceful act.
Tiges should try the 'Oh we're from Adelaide land ....'

There was a text going around between Crows fans to chant 'Where's ya dad?" at Dusty every time he touches the ball...that's the calibre of supporter we're talking about here. Sadly for them, Dusty had the last laugh. Good.

The murder and weird sex crime capital delivered right on cue. A pathetic performance that reflects the bizarre and fickle nature of the place. Suck a big fat one Adelaide..........sorry you've already done that. Repeatedly.
I think you're pretty tough, don't I?

20 years later losing a GF to someone else is hardly a suck it moment...
If we'd won in 97 and lost in 09-10, I'd still take that deal happily

Walker's "speech" illustrated perfectly the SA approach.....good kids when they're winning (a-la Nigel Smart & Co) what a phuckin loser
St Kilda forever ( God help me)
Re: Oh when the crows go marching in!
I was delighted seeing the Crows beaten and beaten well....As far as old memories are concerned we should hate the (Brisbane) Lions for our loss to back in 1913.

Come on, Tez. You played for the Tiges in the 1980 GF. Surely you have a soft spot for them?terry smith rules wrote:Oh and Richmond supporters can be so couth.degruch wrote:There was a text going around between Crows fans to chant 'Where's ya dad?" at Dusty every time he touches the ball...that's the calibre of supporter we're talking about here. Re: Oh when the crows go marching in!
Only two things come out of Adelaide. Mass murderers and sex offenders.
"Is this the right room for an argument?"
"I told you once."
"No, you didn't."
"Yes, I did."
"Listen, an argument isn't just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says, it's a series of statements designed to support a particular conclusion."
"No, it isn't."
"Oh, I've had enough of this."
"No you haven't"
"Oh shut up."
