Ok so it we didn't get it done. Draft a few good kids and have another crack at it next year

Keep building the list with quality draft picks and a cheapie. Hopefully there will be natural improvement.

Desperation is not attractive to gun players.
They want to play to finals and our second half of the season was very unattatractive.
I don't reckon the Saints hierarchy looks desperate. They have moved on quickly from J. Kelly. TBH, nothing much has been said. We had a good crack and didn't offer overs.
Its more that some of the Saints supporters can't handle we didn't get a big dog in FA this year. Talk about a meltdown. Plus the trade period hasn't even played out yet.
North as a club on the other hand look ridiculously desperate. The money and years they were offering Kelly and Martin were crazy.
I've always been content if the Saints go to the draft. Still think it would be good to pickup 1-2 A graders via trade if possible too.
