Acres
Listening to 6PR on the commute to work this morning and Kim Hagdorn was spouting that Blake Acres was on Freo's list of players they want to bring back to WA. Apparently their plan is to target ex WA boys. I know Blake grew up following the Eagle's but I have chatted to his parents a few times and they say he loves it at the Saints.
I know he is contracted for next year and i hope the Saints keep him as he has enormous up side.
Will be interesting

Re: Acres
The name is Kim Hackdorn. Had some s*** site called Footy First or something to that effect. Obviously no one read it.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Good call, Moods. Extend his contract now. I was under the impression we had him stitched up until 2020. Don't want the purple puke and West Coke to get in his ear. Will be a gun if he puts in the work.
I think you're pretty tough, don't I?

at the Captain's Run, they said he's very settled in Melb and loves the Saints immensely
2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn

Would be sick to the stomach if we lost him to Ro$$y and the Purple Puke.

Re: Acres
Perhaps he was thinking about heading west when he infamously wandered away from Robbie Gray?
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Re: Acres
There are some nut cases who post on this site.
And perhaps Longer contesting a boundary throw in could have changed the outcome - but never make the mistake of putting the horse before the cart.
Look at the job WCE did on Ryder including the planning that went into Ryder.
TWO (2) mobile rucks who went with Ryder all game, denying him space and presence except in the tap contest and keeping him to just 2 or 3 disposals.
And they contested for the taps.
Yes, contested every tap.
If you choose to play a dinosaur you get what Ryder and others have done to St Kilda.
And not even in September when the opposition analysis really steps up.
Acres is an absolute requirement with every prospect of developing into our most influential player for a generation
