Votes v Tigers
5. Jade Gresham. Worked hard, finished really well. A shining light.
4. Billy Longer. Tireless display in the ruck, against a bloke who has had a very strong season.
2.Luke Dunstan. Continued his late- season resurgence. Missed a couple of early goals, which is very disappointing, but I think was still in our best.
2. Koby Stevens. Has had a very good first season for us. Unlucky with illness and injury, but has become very important, and again today provided some inside grunt.
1. Jack Billings. As always can frustrate with his misses, but has continued his upward trend today, and showed his class a lot.
1. Nick Riewoldt. As he has done for every single game of his career, he worked his guts out to present for his teammates. Watching him from the top deck of the stand, I just marvelled again at his running ability. He butchered a few disposals, but today we can forget that and embrace a man who gave every drop till the last minute.

Re: Votes v Tigers
5. Jade Gresham - a class act
4. Jake Carlisle - another class act
3. Billy Longer -this year's great improver - could be a real champ
2. Luke Dunstan- hard worker but his complete one sidedness is a problem
1. Nick Riewoldt - ran and marked as usual, our best tall on the forward line today
Boos for the blokes who turned it over so often - Jack Billings (4 goals), Jack Steven (2 goals) Jack Lonie ( 1 goal) and Seb Ross ( 2 goals). They scored 14 goals from turnovers - most of which were not under direct pressure. They only kicked 5 goals from there own good play.

Re: Votes v Tigers
5 - Gresham - God knows we need to kick goals
4 - Carlisle - Was a veritable dam wall down there. Would have been far uglier without him.
3 - Longer - Commendable around the ground too. Cracked in harder than anyone else early.
I'm struggling to give votes after these three. Some okay performances from Dunstan and Steele, but we got murdered in the middle. Billings kicked a nice goal but otherwise just racked up silly 1-2 handballs. Acres did some nice work but is that enough? Rooey worked hard to no avail, as did Membrey.
Pretty disappointing performance across the board.

5: Carlisle - controlled the defense and the only one who stopped usbfrom getting destroyed
4: Gresham - fixed his yips and was the classiest player of ground
3: Longer - another dominating performance even kicked a goal
2: Dunstan - continued a good run of form and tried hard all day
1: Roo - ran hard all day and clunked a nice mark that brought a tear to my eye in the last quarter

The Tiger and the Lion may be more powerful, but the Wolf does not perform in the circus.

Re: Votes v Tigers
Many thanks as always , Sainter Dad. The fact that 12 blokes got votes - which is pretty typical for us- shows that we do not all see the game the same way, but your collating of the votes is greatly appreciated.
