Ross out of position

Post: # 1695944Post wskin »

Was closely watching Seb Ross today vs the Tigers. He was clearly one of our best players in the first half playing on the ball but for some unknown reason was moved onto the wing in the second half where he had no influence.
Is he injured or is something else going on? I cannot work it out.

Richo does some odd things at times including team selection. Shine off the apple with him at present but a good start to next year will make me eat my words

7 , 8 and 26 is better than
7, 9 and 27.
Perhaps?

It's not to do with Ross but Dunstan and Steele. Richo likes those two, with reason, but they're too one dimensional. Thus, Ross plays wing sometimes because of those 3 (actually, plus Koby), only Ross has another string to his bow.

We've already given up pick 26 for Jack Steele, haven't we? If we get back into the second round, we have to trade our way back in.

I think you're pretty tough, don't I?

Fair call with Dunstan and Steele. But Ross is wasted on the wing and from what I saw today he doesn't have that string to his bow at all.

We barely looked like scoring in the first half, then kicked 8.6 in the second half to bring some semblance of competitiveness, maybe it helped?

There was no pressure applied in the first half. They started tackling in the second.
