On topic, given that Roo has retired, that Gilbo might, and we're short on mids... I reckon Monty can go around again

I think it would depend on who we trade and draft in… if we bring in a couple of ready made mids then there probably will be no need for him next year.
Unfortunately we don't have a bunch of up and coming mids in the twos at the moment who are being kept out of the side by anyone.
He is seriously better than our bottom 20-odd players on the list at present though, so if we don't land some mature talent then I would keep him.
As mentioned though, he's not really a defender and has had to play there because of our atrocious foot skills.
Pretty nice back-up for a wing if we are hit by injuries.
The other question is: how many delistings do we need?
Dempster, Riewoldt, Holmes.
Minch, Lonie, Wright & Pierce must be borderline.

No - we don't have enough leadership on the park to steady the ship when things get ugly. Needed some leadership against melb where we may have won as we did come back in that game.
