Hopefully he will silence all the Nagative Nancy's.

Not sure how many times posters have to post that he has a trashed ankle he has been carrying for majority of the season!!!!!
So my question is, what are they gaining by playing an injured underperforming player?
From where I sit, the only thing we've achieved by persevering with Mav this season is that we have successfully and comprehensively destroyed his reputation.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Thought Mav was ok today. Kicked a nice goal.

7 kicks, 5 handballs, 3 tackles, but 2 clangers (official AFL site)parkeysainter wrote:Thought Mav was ok today. Kicked a nice goal.
He did seem to be running a bit more than normal, and more freely as well.
2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn

Re: Op Keep Mav Weller
He had one disposal and zero tackles in the first 45 minutes of play. Once we got on top he started to find a little bit of footy. Nowhere to be seen when the game was in the balance. Like last week. Like the week before. Like most of 2017. I really hope he can find his best form again next season.parkeysainter wrote:Thought Mav was ok today. Kicked a nice goal.
Re: Op Keep Mav Weller
if he's not holding a better player out he stays, while he is doing some good things at times he still goes missing and is a shell of he's inform self.
here's hoping 2018 is the return of the old mav

C'mon mate, it was an open goal from 15 metres out from a joe the goose handball from Dunstan.parkeysainter wrote:Kicked a nice goal.
He was in the bottom few ranked players on the ground, his perpetual selection is now a running joke.
The win this week masked the howler of a decision to leave White out.

He knows how Shyte his season has been.
Broken shell of the player he was 12 months back.
The season cannot end quick enough for him.
