If Eagles and Bombers lose tonight?
And Saints beat Nth by a fair margin we could be in the 8 on percentage. Lol!!!

Exactly. Port has given us a lifeline. GWS likely to beat West Cocaine. Too much to ask GC beating the dopers? Up there? A typical late season anaomoly? Here's hoping!

Re: If Eagles and Bombers lose tonight?
Even better if the Lions beat Melbourne in Melbourne. That would be funny.
Tipping the Saints will finish equal 8th on points but miss out on percentage. Ditto 2017.

Don't think so.GregPackhamsHeadband wrote:Exactly. Port has given us a lifeline. GWS likely to beat West Cocaine. Too much to ask GC beating the dopers? Up there? A typical late season anaomoly? Here's hoping!
Essendon have been gifted a soft draw and a rebuild opportunity. Time out should not have been a rebuild opportunity.
We really don't deserve to be there particularly as we've only beaten 3 teams above us and lost to deadshit teams like Port, Dees, Dogscray and the Drug CHEATS.

Re: If Eagles and Bombers lose tonight?
Would be amusing if we played the Tiges two weeks in a row at the G.
The club would be pleased with the extra revenue.
But I think we would probably be wasting a finals spot.

Re: If Eagles and Bombers lose tonight?
It will all go to show how our bad kicking vs Port and rubbish opening quarter vs Dees has cost us a place in the finals....the 8th spot that no one seems to have the nuts to claim
Nee!

Re: If Eagles and Bombers lose tonight?
One thing has cost us playing finals, and that is deplorable goal kicking. Even if we had middle of the pack goal kicking accuracy, we'd be in the 8 right now.

1968 - we flogged Geelong at Moorabbin to make the 4. First semi-final, one week later, Geelong flogged us at the MCG.
Memorable only for Billy Ryan's huge mark. Sometime later we learned that Darrell Baldock was heading back to Tassie.

Not yet. We win our last two, GWS beat WC next week and Melbourne lose at least one, preferably their last two and we are in. Simples!sainters85 wrote:and we are officially out of the finals... what a sad way to send off a club champion.

11 ST KILDA 40, 96.1%
R22 North Melbourne (ES)
R23 Richmond (MCG)
There’s no choice for the Saints but to win both remaining games — and then hope other results fall their way. Today they’ll farewell Nick Riewoldt in his last home game and will need to do it in style and boost their percentage.

Brions are a small chance. They have been playing good footy the last month or so. They arent the worst.
