Ablett has just put his Brisbane house on the market.Trev from the Bush wrote:Nah, better sources than Finnis reckon he's Brisbane bound!
He could just sell the house to Robbo.
McCartin to go to Geelong, and out of Paddy and Gablett, the first one who finds a house in Geelong first,
can share with the other for a while.
It could work

So what would we do with our 4 first round picks?WellardSaint wrote:Ablett has just put his Brisbane house on the market.Trev from the Bush wrote:Nah, better sources than Finnis reckon he's Brisbane bound!

I don't trust the club to use any bloody picks properly.
Pick One Paddy McCartin- bought with heart and not head. Sadly, has health issues that were ignored by the club.
Pretty much most of our picks end up delisted, low percentage actually make it past 50 games, by sheer luck.
CLUB CANNOT DEVELOP ITS DRAFTED PLAYERS for whatever reason. They have no idea.
If we'd picked up Rampe, Buddy Franklin, Jake Lever, Dan Hanneberry, (just random guys) they would fizzle out like Siposs and Spencer White.

Any other club in the entire AFL would have probably taken Paddy at no 1. If not 1 then definately 2.WellardSaint wrote:Trade them at all costs.Sainter_Dad wrote:So what would we do with our 4 first round picks?WellardSaint wrote:Ablett has just put his Brisbane house on the market.Trev from the Bush wrote:Nah, better sources than Finnis reckon he's Brisbane bound!

Club made the right call. We needed a key forward over mid at the time.

You may not know this, but I live in Perth not far from Subiaco.
I have a large 5 bedroom house, child friendly.
A certain player manager has asked me if I would like some coin
to let a certain Sainter with 3 kids, live in my place while he's house hunting in Perth.
His number is #17.
If you believe this story, then you believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden

Well he definitely won't be wanting a house near Subiaco.WellardSaint wrote:You may not know this, but I live in Perth not far from Subiaco.

Next season the Eagles new home is Lathlain Oval the other side of the river, nowhere near Subiaco.
Also AFL games won't be played at Subiaco anymore, they will be played at the new stadium in Burswood, just a good old fashioned torpedo kick from the Eagles training ground at Lathlain.
So WS, your '5 bedroom dwelling' wouldn't hold any interest for #17. Hope you don't need the rent to pay off your mortgage!!!
Re: Roberton contract close
The fairies at the bottom of the garden are assisting with the mortgage payments.

all they need is a bit of blood and bone and other fertiliser...
Fertilizer....
I placed a bluetooth speaker next to Bill n Ben,
and played a Richo's "Message to Members" on endless repeat,
but had to stop as they grew far too quickly.
