Re: Those shots on goal-
We'd have to be the worst team though, shirley?
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Those shots on goal-
Other team's individuals may be worse than our worst, but as a team we have no rival.
Dead last for shots in general play at 36.3 per cent.
Fifteenth for set shots (no doubt helped by Membrey's usually reliable kicking) at 49.2 per cent.
As for those worst individual shots for goal, I'll bet you Billings (one of my favourites) sneaks into the top 10.

Re: Those shots on goal-
Mav is there. Billings must be close as he has had a few that have fallen short and gone wide.
Good too see the saints not the worst shot at goal this year
Saints 241 goals 271 behinds
Bulldogs 236 goals 272 behinds

Re: Those shots on goal-
Interesting that we don't have a single player in the top 20 goal kickers in the competition, yet we have two of the top eight for behinds (Billings 5th, Gresham 8th).

Re: Those shots on goal-
Agree that listing the worst few individuals is misleading.
But seeing Rhys up there did give me a good laugh.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Re: Those shots on goal-
our accuracy this year will cost us the finals.
AFL is simple. It can be summed up by "Kick more goals than the opposition". It staggers me that it is the least practiced element of the game. Every drill they have should be ending with a shot at goal.
It is possible to see Bruce, Billings, Gresh etc legs shaking when they line up for a simple shot.
