The power imbalance makes it a more significant workplace issue, in the context of most contracts requiring senior people to disclose these sorts of activities. Probably a situation that would have you question the judgment of your senior executives.

It is the AFL's way of saying f*** you to ASADA and WADA and the drugs in sport code.
The AFL signed on to the code to get massive wads of money from the federal government but they were never really committed to the drugs in sport code.
That is why Essendon and the players got off so lightly until WADA stepped in and took the case to the international arbiters.
I will boo the cheating team tonight.
What a pity Jobe won't be playing but he will hear me from his seat.
I will boo the AFLs executives in September along with the excrement Hird.
And it won't be racist.

They used to introduce Jack Hamilton of the AFL on GF day - until he got booed, then he just appeared on stage without any announcement - so no chance to boo.

People dont like cheats, especially drug cheats. Did you hear the booing when 2 time drug cheat Justin Gatlin beat Usain Bolt in the World champs overnight. The average punter knows he shouldnt be there. 2 drug offences is normally a life ban. The paying public has every right to voice their objection

Agree with Jiggingsaint and Prophet on this one. Maybe just don't clap if you don't like him but booing??? It denigrates the actual medal to whoever wins it. Yeah I know, the AFL have already done that by allowing him to present it, but why perpetuate it?

Perhaps the most dignified way to show disapproval or otherwise, is to simply be silent.
Booing loud and proud shows three things
- The AFL needs to understand what a stupid decision this is.
- Hird needs to understand just how much he is hated and loathed by the vast majority of the football public.
- and what better way for the fans to work off some of that rage that built up during the years that Essendon turned our beloved game into a soap opera.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
