Was it Nathan Wright who got injured just before 3/4 time?

think so, here's Zebs' tweet from late in the 3rd

Casey get two in a row and they trail by 6.
30th minute mark plenty of time left with Nathan Wright being stretchered off. 67-61 @VFL

Well he wasn't stretchered off.
He hobbled off with the assistance of two trainers.

Then we couched up 3 late goals before the siren mercifully went.

Coming home with a hurricane we looked odds on to win but managed to find ways to stuff up and actually got outplayed and outscored.
It was dumb football.
Looked like they didn't want to win!!!!!

1. The Saints' affiliation is tracking perfectly- true Saints footy being played (excellent at finding a way to lose)
2. Nobody said the Zebs Social Media team is accurate. They make the Daily Mail look like Walkley Award winners

Seems as though the development coach's messages are getting through.

Brayshaw played a blinder. Stood out with his decision making, run and carry - got plenty of the ball and brought other Casey players into the game. Easily the BOG and the most influential player. Probably made a 6-8 goal difference to the result.

Lewis Pierce played a very good game as a key defender - moved really well, took some saving marks, applied strong tackles and made some important spoils.
I was quite impressed with him.
Battle got his hands on the ball quite a bit, in general play, but shot out a lot of indiscriminate handballs- trying to thread impossible, lightning quick handballs through thick traffic to team mates, in the hope of catching the opposition napping. He needs to curtail this wastefulness,
He did kick one fantastic goal though - a 50 metre snap - and took several very strong one-grab marks around the ground.

He won a lot of hitouts, did most of the rucking with Holmes also chipping in at the end. He did okay around the ground - probably took 3 or 4 marks and had his 15 possessions.
More than half of Hickey's hitouts were probably being cleared by Casey.

Holmes ended up with 2 goals - and probably spent less time on the ground. His hitouts were not much chop either - winning hitouts doesn't guarantee or even determine clearances.

We had 4 ruckmen sized players on the ground at the same time - under very windy conditions - crazy

At one stage - maybe frustrated - Hickey started to smash a few hitouts forward about 20-30 metres - but again it seemed to advantage Melbourne players - they ended up with the clearance.
