Changes. Who comes in?

Post: # 1689357Post saynta »

Roo for one.

If Nick O' Kearney has a good game today, I would give him a run.

Outs.

I would give Mav and Lonie the flick, but that won't happen.

We went in too small imho. That was determined by the weather. The rain stopped after the 1st quarter and we were then shy of one marking forward.

I would drop brown too but we have no replacement unless they go for Marshall as a back.

Lets see what happens today...

But I would drop Lonie and Weller and bring in Marshall and Roo. I am very tempted to give Connelan a run as well...

I also think we lack a decent player providing fwd pressure so there is a spot open for Long if he is any good.

Brown who s a much better experienced back man than Marshall.
Brown will be required to play on Kennedy.

Out: Weller (just didn't get it done as richo would say)
In: Riewoldt
The bulk of the team really deserve the chance to respond to such adversity because adversity bonds like no other.

Yes Mav to go back i agree.

Holmes got a goal today? Thats 1 goal we desperately need available in the team.

Can we please give Holmes ago!

Not a bad idea Con but as far as I know Connelan can't play unless he has been upgraded from the rookie list

west coast have a bigger defence as i remember they run with Yeo and Hurn off the hald back and thats it so you kinda need to go tall against them otherwise Mcgovern will be having a field day picking off our kicks coming in.
Roo, Marshall come in for Lonie and Mack.
then you'd be looking at Rice or NOK to come in for Weller or Acres?

In the Carlscum game, Docherty was marking everything in our forward line
(not everything, but his name+"mark" went together like a pie n sauce)

McGovern and Yeo will have a picnic in our F50.

Just bomb it in without looking, like normal, and watch it come back out.

WCE will be fired up with their cheating ducker Priddis retiring, and Sam Mitchell (to a lesser impact- he's just a mercenary and not a real West Coker)

It's gonna be a horrible day next week at Etihad

Rice not named to play today. I think he is injured.

Yeah he was playing in a Brace against the cats, still performed well. But if it doesnt hold up its understandable.

Do we have anyone who can hold down fullback? I am not happy with Browns games lately. Maybe Roo could

Also, can we not promote a rookie for the remainder of the season? If so, the selectors deserve a rocket for missing opportunities to promote rookies.

I think Weller just didn't do enough against PA, and was a bit selfish when he marked on the 50 and could have passed it a couple of leads closer to goal- ended up a behind, another goal gone begging on the night.

Probably again the WCE, another tall like Marshall would be a good chance in the forward line. I thought Longer's failure to take a contested mark around the ground was an issue a few times when we were trying to get the ball down the ground- but unless we look at Holmes, then there's no one else is really putting their hands up for ruck duties, as Tom is off the boil.

One change Weller out, Marshall in.

Did superficial research on B.Acres (West Australian June 2017) " have just bought a house in Perth and that's where my family is....." Contracted to 2018. Was trying to get a feel for how clever he is - there was a para on milking Nick for info incl. "poring over tapes" so the one about defending must have been out on loan. Is he committed I wonder watching some of his recent efforts or is he looking West. As for changes how about shuffling the deck a likkle.

I think you'll find Nathan Brown has a very good record against Josh Kennedy.
