PREDICTION
Riewoldt and Montagna announce this week that this will be their final season.
>We demolish the Eagles by over 60 points.
>The following week we beat the Dees at the G by 2 goals.
>The week after that we have an off week and lose to the North in an embarrassing performance.
>It all comes down to week 4 against the tigers. We will be riding a wave of emotion and smash the living life out of the tigers who then drop out of the top four.
A few other results go our way and BAM, we play our first finals campaign since 2011.
We are still in this guys!!

Now THAT is SOME script there, colleague! ( you didn't happen to write yesterday's epic by any chance did you?)stkmo wrote:Riewoldt and Montagna announce this week that this will be their final season.

Re: PREDICTION
I think you'll find that our percentage is so poor that we will have to win all 4 games to make it.

Re: PREDICTION
the loss to north kind of ruins it. the saints win 8 straight and surprise the footballing world. Roo decides to go for back to back. we all cheer!

And even with all 4 we could still miss out.

You left out the part that we miss out, falling agonisingly close due to having a poor percentage.

Re: PREDICTION
You're forgetting that 120-plus points victories against Norf, Smelbourne, and Richturd, in the wake of our 22 goal shellacking of Wet Toast sees our percentage head into the stratosphere!............ THEN I wake up ( damn )Sainternist wrote:You left out the part that we miss out, falling agonisingly close due to having a poor percentage.

on the Druid magical charms
BTW wasn't it prescient (clairvoyant- seeing the future)
for me to tell you to get a vial of Rooey's tears?
I meant it to be him crying over being left out, but with today's press conference...
maybe get a large carafe of Rooey's tears and take it to Etihad to be liberally sprinkled in the centre square and the goal square...
it should be good for 12 marks and 6 goals by the eternal warrior legend
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Well, there is certainly should be a lot of incentive to win these last four games now.

Re: PREDICTION
Weeks ago I thought that the Port Adelaide game was a loss, and we should win the remaining four. I still believe that. We SHOULD win them all, but being St.Kilda. who knows.

The Maddies Match,Sainternist wrote:Well, there is certainly should be a lot of incentive to win these last four games now.
were the players especially switched on because of the occasion-
or was it just a coincidence, and the occasion was incidental?
If the guys really played outside their skin for Rooey and the build-up,
then God help the Wet Cokers,
because :
- crowd will be the largest Saints game at Etihad against any foreign side (except Swans, who still get them in)
- lads might just bring their B+ game (I don't think they actually have an A game)
WCE coaches will mention to watch out because of Rooey giving us a boost,
but they have Priddis retiring as well
I don't expect the same effect as Lenny's "I Luv Lenny" game, because Lenny captured the hearts and minds of everyone.
Rooey has the minds of the boys, but I don't know if the hearts' effect is as widespread.
Don't shoot me, its only my opinion, just like in my opinion I don't like Hyundais and Volkswagens, but a lot of folk swear by them.

Re: PREDICTION
Quite like Volkswagens, although the emissions thing was a bit of a worry.
Hopefully, the boys'll play out of their skins for 4 weeks. My fear is the "Kick it to Nick" effect. Could make us a wee bit predictable.
