A real scrap.
I like the look of White.
Bruce doing a mountain of grunt work and creating opportunities.
Shame our smalls can't capitalise on the score board.

Who does Josh Bruce have to bend over a sofa <edited by mods> to get a free kick?

We're right in it. Seems like the game plan shifted to more overlap run than kick down the boundary, and surprise surprise it worked. Go Saints, give these biased commentators something to cry about

We will never win in Adelaide by asking for free kicks. Never happened, never will. We are playing better than them, but what a shitty game. Can we just kick straight in second half, please? And get a forward coach!

This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

White looking good.
Should be 3 or 4 goals up on the play.
Something has to be done about our goal-kicking accuracy. It is pathetic all year!

White been good. Can't understand how easily most of our players get thrown off the ball.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 19 2017
Bruce been unlucky with the umps. Been good bar the marking (again) and giving a target. Nedd gresh or lonie at his feet.
Dunstan's been our best mid again - extracting the hard ball, laying tackles, kicking well into the fifty. Carlisle and Roberton good. White looks settled. Billings played well but really letting us down with his goal kicking. Newnes much better after last week. Ross laying some nice tackles.
All up a good quarter - we dominated, but need to convert our chances.

Gee Ricuitto (? Spelling) has the 'hates' for Josh Bruce - he pots at him at every opportunity. He won't even give him a smiddgen of credit for the efforts Bruce continually puts in

Bruce would get votes for effort so far .. The others need to bounce off and Rove p to his attack on the ball and presence l

Have been pleased with Dunny so far today; except for the one failed attempt to break a tackle has been very clean with the ball ... almost looked "pacey"

Bruce doing a mountain of work, he's being raped in the contests by Port defenders but he is to honest, needs to learn to draw the free kicks. Would have 3 goals away from Adelaide.
