Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 19 2017
we're playing a tough match in the wet in adelaide where Port have top four form, we're missing a heck of a lot of experienc, and we're only a goal down yet only negative crap on here. Guys are pressuring well. both teams kicking efficiency is naturally poor. we're doing alright. unfortunate by webster at the end - has played a good quarter til near the end. dunstan been very good - missed him massively when he went off. steven seems to have been tagged out of it, must get into the game.

Just a bit of trivia, but this would be the 1st time no one from our 2010 Grand Final teams has been in the team.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 19 2017
We need to play a forward line. It's obvious.
When we cause a turnover, it's useless because we just bomb it to a one on two. Even if it was a one on one, nobody's going to hold grabs in this weather, so when it hits the deck we can't compete.
We're on track for a match total of 3 or 4 goals at the moment.

I said we'd struggle to kick 5 at the start, now I think we'll struggle to kick 3. Out game plan in the wet is terrible and our players are way too soft.

Yeah we haven't been that bad but our game plan isn't working. Blazing from D50 into a wall of Port and kicking up the boundary to outnumbered contests. The two times we've looked likely came from a daring DMac kick to the corridor that opened the field up, and Lonie's handball to the corridor just now. Feel like we need more dare.desertsaint wrote:we're playing a tough match in the wet in adelaide where Port have top four form, we're missing a heck of a lot of experienc, and we're only a goal down yet only negative crap on here. Do our players know that we are suppose to kick it to our players in the forward 50. Another sub 10 goal score coming up.

stop playing the boundary line

Jesus .... Just so disheartened and only two goals down. Where is Jack Stevens?

Ive seen us play worse. Think we all have.
But sheesh. How frustrating is this? Sooo close but so far.
Kick a damn goal. Just kick 1.
Also. Much respect to those using a phone to post. Also reasonablly frustrating!

Like, have we seriously never won in Adelaide? That is shameful. Today is a big opportunity! Come on Saints.
