Gilbert injury? Details

Post: # 1685550Post saintsRrising »

Was at the game and so know that Gilbert was injured.

But have missed exactly what it was. And could not face listening to the radio post game.

So what is the update on him please?

He will be out at least a month which is a blow as he has been brilliant this year.
HS says Geary has a muscle injury late in the game so fingers crossed he is ok.
Key players out now are:

Mc Cartin indefinite
Armitage 2-3 weeks
Gilbert 4-6 weeks
Membrey 1 more week
Longer hope to be back this week
Webster comes back in to the team.

AR will be looking to get Longer on asap and send Hickey away and a few others will be under the microscope.
I can't see Battle playing again and Long needs to do more.
There is always next week and I can see AR saying now,
" We are excited with the opportunity to take on Sydney.

Nasty injury.

That is terrible news for Gilbo.

He has been really good for us this year, we will miss his efforts in the back half and pinch hitting in the ruck.

The Armitage injury reminds me of when Hamill was injured, 2 wks.
