Sponsorship event - August 6, Premier Lounge
I'm getting on the front foot for this one and giving everyone plenty of time to plan. I don't have many details but it is an invitation for two to lunch before the Eagles game in Round 20.
I'm finding it way easier to make it opt-in for these events, so let me know if you are interested either here or via PM. The draw will be done during the Swans game on Saturday week.
I'll post more details here as soon as I have them.

I am looking forward to seeing Stephen Bradbury again at this function.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Re: Sponsorship event - August 6, Premier Lounge
We have at least 12 sponsors with their name down for this. I'll draw the numbers on Saturday morning and the winner will be based on our score v the Swans.

Re: Sponsorship event - August 6, Premier Lounge
I have the event details now. I'll do the number draw tomorrow around lunchtime.
The winner will need to provide me with a name and physical address as tickets will be posted early next week.Date: Sunday, August 6
Game: Round 20, St Kilda v West Coast Eagles
Venue: Limelight Room, Etihad Stadium. Enter via Gate 4, go to Level D (Dining).
Doors Open: 11:40am
Game Starts: 1:10pm
Dress: Neat Casual
Much like the VFL function earlier this month, the boys that aren’t playing on the day will attend the function pre-game.
Canapes will be provided from the beginning of the function until halftime. Drinks will be provided throughout until 30 minutes post game.

Re: Sponsorship event - August 6, Premier Lounge
OK. 59 live tickets. I've allocated each ticket a number between 1 and 59.
For any Saints score tonight greater than 59, just keep subtracting 59 until we have a winner.
So if we scored 158 points like we did in this game:
http://afltables.com/afl/stats/games/19 ... 10831.html
The winner would have ticket number 40(158 - 59 - 59 = 40)
I'd be happy if we only score 151.
Good luck

Congratulations CQ Saint
It was a weird feeling watching the game, knowing it was lost, but still kind of hoping that we did not score in the last 5:00. I do not like this way of doing it!!!!!

Pretty stiff to lose after a long bomb goal from Dunstan.

Thanks Sainter_Dad and Kosi. Very strange feeling indeed. Glad to have won during a loss and very grateful that ball wasnt touched. It has been a good run with the B&F last year and now this. With no games in Qld this year and a planned weekend to see this particular game cancelled due to my father in law in hospice and expected to go any minute and now a game in Melbourne, it has been expensive but worth every dollar. I shall get my monies worth and we should get a win against the Weagles at Etihad. Booking flights tomorrow. Go Saints!
