I don't know why, but I feel like Savage will have a good game. 20+ disposals and a goal I reckon

Re: Team v Tigers
If Carlisle has no immediate match up, maybe Jake and Gilbo can rotate in the ruck and N Brown lines up on Jack Riewoldt. If Gilbo has fully recovered I reckon we rotate Carlisle and Gilbo in the ruck and drop Longer for Acres.
Also have my doubts on N Brown if he lines up on anyone else apart from Riewoldt. He looks good when our midfield has done well this year and cut off the supply from the oppostion mids. When this game is done and dusted we'll be wondering why we picked N Brown against a midget forward line. Hope I'm wrong

I actually like this ^ but maybe too much of an injury risk playing Carlisle in the ruck?Scollop wrote:If Carlisle has no immediate match up, maybe Jake and Gilbo can rotate in the ruck and N Brown lines up on Jack Riewoldt. Can't see how longer helps us playing against a fast side with a mobile ruckman.

This is normal in case one of the 22 is injured in the warmup and needs to be replaced.The_President wrote:Looks like both Acres & Hickey are warming up out on the ground.
It happened in Rd 4 when someone pulled out in the warmup

I don't think those two are going to get back in the side anytime soon. A pity because I reckon 8cres has some X factor.WellardSaint wrote:This is normal in case one of the 22 is injured in the warmup and needs to be replaced.The_President wrote:Looks like both Acres & Hickey are warming up out on the ground.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Re: Team v Tigers
Well on the 3 ins.
Savage. Excellent. Was a real rock in defence and took some excellent contested marks to booth.
DMak and Long were both ok. Not great, but a long way from bad. Certainly quite serviceable games rom both.
