Play it one week at a time. I don't see any point in reading tea leaves. A team's fortunes fluctuate on a weekly basis.

All I'm going to be thinking about is our next game against the Dockers in Perth at this stage.

The next five - Freo away, Tigers, Essendon, Swans away, Port away - are going to be tough.

Not convinced that we are good enough, but if we do make it, based on that draw, we can win it.

Win the next 5 and we will win the flag. Easy!!

With the possible exception of the Freo game this week, I can't see us winning any more than nine matches, which is one down on what I thought we would win this season when the draw first came out.

Getting finals into players is good for their development too. Let them feel the pressure, the weight of expectation and the disappointment of losing or the thrill of winning!

Happy to say that I got the round 16 prediction wrong and also would like to correct the next one. Based on what we saw last night we should win on Friday too...
