Say use the seventh defender as a ruck in the back half and the nearest reasonably tall player elsewhere.Would give us an extra midfielder with which to try and compete around the ruck contest.

Billy unfortunately does not seem to be a "footballer". Even if he does win a number of possessions he does not seem to be ever able to use them to an advantage.

He wins quite a few taps outs, but does not really seem to direct them.


Against Mummy he was excellent, but in his other games he has not really been able to exert any real positive influence.

Have you seen him get the ball in general play? Throws the hands up to get the ball above his head so arms aren't pinned, then just stands there like that. It's like he doesn't know how to dish it off.

We have him on the team virtually as ballast. He's there to contest ruck duels and that's about all he can do.

I don't see the harm in us looking to recruiting or trading for another ruckman come end of season.

Would be disappointed to see him play again this year. If Hickey not available give Holmes or Pierce a chance - couldn't do any worse!

Witts and Wright have Lynch; they rotate them around for a chop out, and we want to have a crack at Billy's numbers?

It wasn't his best game by any measure, but I could have lived without the Bronz cheers at the ground from some of our "faithful".

What game were you guys watching? There were times when Billy was the only saints player trying to win a contested ball in the middle against 3-4 suns players. This happened more then once. I don't think he's lazy, he's not very good, but you shouldn't question his intent

Lewie seems on the outer... not performing at VFL and dropped last week
