No such thing as an easy game this year. We let them back into it in the last half of that quarter. Just smarter, cleaner football needed.c'mon saints!

We will probably be in 8th spot tonight but not sure we should be celebrating.

Never been a huge fan, but Dunstan did okay I thought. Steven stepped up and I thought Lonnie and Gresh did some nice things.Con Gorozidis wrote:Billings

Bad kicking is bad football. We are the kings of bad football, not only shooting for goal, but our field kicking is from the Hawthorn manual of what NOT to do.

That was worse than last week. Gold Coast would of killed us today if they didn't have those outs

Always pleased to get a win, regardless of all the doom a gloom predictions ...we are in the 8... if we can turn around our goal
Kicking then other things may start to fall into place we don't put enough score board pressure on sides at the moment.

If we could kick straight the team might have some credibility, but they dont deserve to be a top 8 side.

I'm starting to worry that our supporter base can't see how bad we are atm, accepting mediocrity, not healthy.Devilhead wrote:Winning ugly is still winning

Re: Match Thread Saints v GC Suns Round 14 2017
I was at the game and don't get overly excited by the win. Our kicking was terrible. Worse than what you think.
A good team would have killed us due to our inaccuracy. Longer is crap and not good crap. In fact when he kicked the ball the crowd cheered in sarcasm. Enough said. Weller was crap, Acres was poor. Steven was heavily marked but kicking 0.4 is not acceptable in my book. On a plus Lonie played well as did Dunstan, Our back six are good and getting better and Koby Stevens is great. Sinclair had a great game as well.
Basically until Aaron Hamill teaches our forwards to kick straight we will struggle big time and we will get found out really quickly

Re: Match Thread Saints v GC Suns Round 14 2017
So 3/4 of the team were crap yet we had 33 shots on goal more if you count the out on the fulls
Cant wait until only 1/4 of the team is schitzel
