Then how does Dunstan n Mav keep getting picked?
Maybe because they are best 22 right now?

Delays our progression for another year.
Joey has to go Roo should and will get another year. Ridiculous to suggest Roo should move on.
It's not ridiculous Moe, neither of them will be in our next Premiership team, we need to move on, so do you, if you can.
So who will be in our next premiership team.?

Both Roo & Monty should retire this year. Both are club champs but are about to fall off a cliff IMO.

I would keep Roo for one more year but manage his body. Can play 14 games a year. Should be stated that 2018 is his last year and he will only play 14 games. Communicate this to the fans clearly and early so there is no confusion.

Monty should go. I would prefer to see Bailey Rice and/or Freeman given games.

Fairly happy with Roo signing on, I won't be happy if Montagna does though

Roo has an average game yet is still our best forward.

Says enough.

There is no confusion around when Roo goes..he goes when he goes ....simple as that.

I think both should stick around. But accept a lot less money -- free up some salary cap for some expensive replacement purchases.

Hope Roo stays on...legends that can still perform should stay for as long as they can, any youngens coming to the club need guys like Roo who demand and deserve the ultimate respect. He is a draw card for any young champ to play alongside.

As veterans, half of their $ is counted towards
the salary cap anyway

If Monty isn't retired at the end of the season we have issues.

Not sure about Roo. He looked very tired yesterday but still kicked 3 goals, and with Paddy at crossroads we may have no choice but for him to play another year until we recruit a replacement key forward for Roo/Paddy.

Roo and Monty must stay if their form and fitness hold up.

Currently both in our top ten players. Plenty of spots for others to earn a place.
