Yep, the throwing and rugby passing is destroying the game.

oh alright then

 I can't see them beating 3.5 in the final term, let alone the deficit. Fingers crossed.

Very robotic isnt it.
Yep that's how it seems to me too. I had the impression of watching a bunch of energiser bunnies who's mission is to do everything as fast as possible at all costs. Just not enjoying it.

Total agreement.
I've noticed that in the last year or so.
Thought it was just Saints being in a low point...but actually think it's the game.

The whole rhythm of the game has fundamentally changed. Feel confused. How can I give up footy? Yet am not enjoying it. It's like staying with an old habit that's past it's use by date. And all the sanitised spin put out by the ubiquitous marketing types. Just makes me stare blankly into space.

although it's nice to beat those cheats from Arden St, the game itself was horrible to watch.
Ugly and I don't want to see the replay

I used to watch every game every round. Couldnt get enough. Now I cant be bothered. I dont understand it, I must be dumb. It is so dissected now that I feel really stupid cos I dont get it. To many opinions, too many rule changes, too contrived.

It's because in the back of your mind, nagging you, is the 1% chance (actually less than that on our history) that we'll win the flag. One day. And for some reason, we all have an itch that only that event can scratch. Silly as it sounds.

Woeful set shot kicking at goal again. Still only 2 1/2 quarters of football played. Its obvious they cant play at the level required for the full 120 minutes. A really shallow win in the end.

Should have been 17.12, not the bloody other way around.
Rooey, Billings (not the touched ones, but the miss on the run in front)

Didn't GC beat a top 4 team recently?

Seems like once the ball gets in he centre corridor, we lose the plot- luckily North are not that good. Need f our quarter footy.
First 3 quarters? no postives? No comment on good coaching? all you come up with is 4 negatives

Before the game started if you had told me we will win by 17 points I would have taken that in a heartbeat.

We needed a win after our terrible last 3 games (or 4 games if you include the win over Carlton) and we got it.

As per my second post on this thread about AFL 360 (on Foxtel with Richo & the geelong kray) and us winning when the cats lose - I hope the cats don't win too many more games. :D

What did one of our previous coaches say? We bank the 4 points and move on. :D

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

I was at the game and the third quarter was one of the worst things I have ever seen. I would rather watch an Adam Sandler movie.

Dunstan listed as calf injury in the post match report, did anyone notice that happen?
