Fev's daughter
FEV’S WORST NIGHTMARE COMES TRUE
BRENDAN Fevola has always had one rule for his three daughters. Don’t date a footballer. But after a recent conversation with his daughter Mia, it would be fair to say the former Carlton star’s worst nightmare has come true.
“I have three daughters, everyone knows that. Leni and Lulu, they are going well, and Mia. She is 17 and she is getting very close to being 18 when she can do what she wants,” Fevola said on his FOX FM radio show.
Mia recently told her dad she was going to the movies with a boy, something Fev didn’t think too much of at the time.
That was until he found out one vital detail later on.
It turns out the boy in question is actually a football player.
“You know with your daughter, you want them to go out with a kid that studies hard. He wants to be a doctor. You don’t want a bikie and especially me, I do not want a football player,” Fevola said.
“I know what those little terrors do. I’ve been around a football club. He plays for St Kilda.”
Fevola was quizzed by his co-hosts as to whether the real reason he was annoyed was because he was worried the boy in question would turn out to be better than him.
“There is no chance of that. That is a problem I don’t have (to worry about),” he replied.

Re: Fev's daughter
I know of a certain Mrs Worthington (no, not the one whom Noel Coward implored to keep her daughter off the stage: if you're old enough to remember). She has two sons but, iif she ever has a daughter - and no doubt names the poor lass something like "Concorde" or "Mack Truck" - she is unlikely to be at all keen about her daughter dating an AFL footballer: certainly not one of the Carlton variety.

Re: Fev's daughter
I've heard Fev tell the story last season about his daughter getting "friendly" with Jack Silvagni, I'm guessing someone around that age group??
Between Fev's daughter, and Paddy dating Miss Brownless - has Ameet orchestrated a list management plan for 2040 already??

Noel Coward's Mrs Worthington - you have dated yourself, as have I by acknowledging myself as an aficionado of Sir Noel's work. I assume you are also acquainted with his creation Mrs Wentworth-Brewster ( in a bar on the Piccola Marina on the island of Capri) .meher baba wrote:I know of a certain Mrs Worthington (no, not the one whom Noel Coward implored to keep her daughter off the stage: if you're old enough to remember). As to Fev , credit to him for getting his act together, but ironic that his own past might cause him to fear that his daughter might be dating someone as juvenile as he was.

He's a good bloke. He bought some lemonade from my daughter's lemonade street stall last year and gave a nice tip.thejiggingsaint wrote:Fev! What a character!
Also seen him at kids netball and appears to be a good dad.

Re: Fev's daughter
Yes indeed, and I once visited the Piccola Marina and had a drink in a bar there in Mrs W-B's honour: although I did not find myself "suffused" by "hot flushes of delight" (but most likely that's because I am a bloke).George27 wrote:Noel Coward's Mrs Worthington - you have dated yourself, as have I by acknowledging myself as an aficionado of Sir Noel's work. If you like Noel Coward, I think my favourite song of his (possibly due to my background as a one-time resident of India) was his song about British Army officers in India: "I wonder what happened to him", which features the immortal lines
"Have you had any word
Of that bloke in the 'Third',
Was it Southerby, Sedgwick or Sim?
They had him thrown out of the club in Bombay
For, apart from his mess bill exceeding his pay,
He took to pig-sticking in quite the wrong way.
I wonder what happened to him!"
It's amazing that he could get away with that sort of stuff back in the day!

I hope it's Jade Gresham, he is a apparently a fantastic young gentleman
from a decent upbringing, such a nice young bloke.
There'll be zero drama if it's him
