Ball kicked to Paddy's feet... he chased and tackled though

Disagree vehemently.saintsRrising wrote:Pady has been good though his kicking has not been good. That shot on goal was terrible. and that field kick where he had two team mates in the clear, but kick it straight to the Crow in the middle of them.skeptic wrote:I must be the only one that kind of likes what I'm seeing from Paddy...
If he's shot for goal wasn't so embarrassing I'd have said he did ok.
He does a few nice things
But overall Paddy has been quite ok.
He has been so poor.
His defensive efforts are disgraceful.
When the ball hits the ground and he drops a mark he just stands there or jogs off slowly.
So bad.
Watch Buddy play. When he drops he a mark he keeps going after and wins it on the ground or lays a tackle.
Paddy has been woeful. Abysmal.

Commentators were right, Crows did smart thing on the mark and made his run up too close to the man. He'll learn from it.skeptic wrote:I must be the only one that kind of likes what I'm seeing from Paddy...

On a positive, never noticed before but Stevens appears to be quite a good looking rooster

He'll be very, very good.

quite right - i should have said 'supposedly relies on pressure'. awful to watch us stuff up the main element of our gameplan so badly. The Fireman wrote:outclassed... next year will be better. I like the way Ross and roberton are progressing...I see something in Paddy..... we will have some high picks next year and will pick up (hopefully a tough midfielder) while some of the young brigade will be a bit stronger and street smart. I'm afraid I'm not sure about Richo. apart from that bring on 2018

He was ok that qtr.
Love Gears but unfortunately Eddie is in his head and he is visibly nervous when ball in play.
nathan Brown also looks unusually nervous.
You are wasting your breath defending him.

correct they are not the problem, I didn't say they were. read what I said...I'm just glad your not picking on Gilbo good to see you have progressed. I never say we will be better next year, this is the first time I have said that on this forum.Con Gorozidis wrote:Better next year? Roberton and Ross are not the problem. They are already mature. They wont improve much from here.
I see potential for next year..you don't ? but then again you have made many errors of judgement in the past .

Right there... that pass to Jenkins is why ppl are too harsh on Paddy...
If that was us, it would have have been kicked to McCartin's right side favouring the opponent

Same with Stringer last week, of course he's going to kick 5 goals when he gets delivery out in front on the lead... our kicks into our forwards are more like kicks to the oppositionskeptic wrote:Right there... that pass to Jenkins is why ppl are too harsh on Paddy...
