I must qualify that I have no knowledge of this individual because I have never seen him on any electronic media and I do not read the paper which employs him

Agreed some would believe that all journalists are against us.

The point Robo was making is it doesn't matter who we are playing in next 4 weeks a statement needs to be made. I don't think anyone would argue that.

In other words, start winning consistently. Our wins have generally, with one notable exception, been unimpressive and our losses too heavy. The honeymoon's over boys. I'm always staggered how poor many journalists knowledge of their self proclaimed specialist area is. Who else could get away with that?

Don't know about our losses being too heavy.
Last year, WCE touched us up by 105, and Crows 88.
Sydney was always gonna run into form against us, as the coaches have a ridiculous forward set-up
and they don't really have a Plan B that the players are comfortable with.

It constantly astounds me the lack of knowledge these professionals have.

Last year he wrote a statement after a string of close losses, that close losses were one thing if you were one or two years into a rebuild but St Kilda had no excuse.

Two years after finishing last, the kind of team that he suggested it was acceptable for.

He was also one of the many who suggested Grant Thomas should be sacked because St Kilda had a premiership list only to then suggest, once he was sacked, that we weren't a great destination for a new coach because our list was overrated.

It seems to be a part of the football media that it is more important to speak loudly and definitively than to actually pay attention or retain any knowledge of the game or its results beyond the one you are discussing.
