To those who have fallen off the wagon (and the bandwagon ) over the last two weeks - it's time to jump back on.

Next year, we get 2 big guns and hopefully chase a big forward, which we need because:
1. Bwoose is struggling to replicate the 2015 glory days
2. Paddy is still a work in progress, still very young
3. Membrey seems to lack confidence in kicking/marking, he got schooled by Bernie Vince of the Dees in Rd 1
and hasn't been his normal self since

Re: BandWagon Thread!!!!!
That's one-two-three in a row. After we take the paper tiger by the tail next week, the Chicken Little brigade may all be jumping back onto the old bandwagon again. And that's cool. But whilst they've been away, a few of us took the opportunity to slip into the best seats.
It's Dave, man. Will you open up? I got the stuff with me! -------Who?

Re: BandWagon Thread!!!!!
Paper tigers sorted. Drug bumblers getting a crash (pun intended) course in detox is next on the agenda. Skies are blue, and the view's great from the prime bandwagon seats.Dave McNamara wrote:That's one-two-three in a row. Win two out of the next three and it's on like Donkey Kong.

Re: BandWagon Thread!!!!!
I'm precisely where I was at the start of the season funnily enough.
We lack star power. And that will hurt.
Ross has been a nice surprise this year, but none of the others have stepped up into that star space.
Carlisle is, ditto Steven and Billings shows glimpses. But we need more than that.
I thought we'd win 5 in a row (or should win 5 in a row) so this current run doesn't change my opinion.
I do however, think that since the post-GWS debacle from the coaches box - we seem to have altered a few things which is pleasing.
We're a better team that last year I think, which is good. But without the big guns I think we'll probably be outclassed when the whips start cracking.
We were found out post-GWS. But hopefully with some alterations we may be able to slip under the guard a bit.

Re: BandWagon Thread!!!!! Nuffies and naysayers
Re star power our early season form , franked by recent form has been about creating pressure and creating scoring opportunities . Early statistical work over at figuring footy explains the detail that goes into multivariate analysis of scoring power and potential and , by extension their rating of teams
We were rated as the season sleeping giant after round 8 on analysis most of the Nuffies and naysayers could not even dream of . Btw they also expose how inadequate the data from champion data released to the wider public actually is , foe a number of in confidence commercial reasons .
Post the Carlton game , I think you will find the players and the coaching staff / club management , fell off the same page .
It took 3 weeks to get some semblance of our system back to pre rd 8 levels . We had the bizarre commentary pre game last week that Richmond would win because of their alleged superiority , one win more . We are one win off top 4 , have a solid defence and attack with an emerging midfield which now bats very deep
So johnny member what is your star power argument about , top 4 or top 8 finish , premiership ??
You have adopted a provocative argumentative position to prove what ?? A few more stars might improve performance , but as Clarkson has demonstrated this year , getting a team to buy into a system even with a bunch of kids can have potent results
Could a few posters submit a tad more than prejudice or blind opinion , can they really think that the resources richo has at his disposal , access to data analysis etc is superior to their mealy offerings in their tiny worlds

Firstly, what on earth does 'sleeping Giant' mean?
Does that mean we're going to be good if we improve in certain areas?
Secondly, you do realise that this is a forum where people express opinions? Most are purely based on gut feel, one-eyed support and pure emotion.
If you're suggesting that unless people have detail to extremely detailed stats they shouldn't be commenting - I should you're bring ridiculous. And very petty.
