WHat are the restrictions on saints players playing eg if we wanted paddy to play, could he or would that forfeit him from the Adelaide game?

Victoria Park will never be a "venue".
It remains for ever a cess pit.

So if they line up as selected it looks like moving Freeman along to the next stage of his development as playing as a genuine mid again, they are as opposed to say hb.

The problem is that if Bruce or any of the other contenders play well, and are selected for the AFL then they only have a 5 day break.

Blokes like Bruce, Hickey & Dunstan would be dirty.
Probably already had a weekend away booked in Byron

Yep really feel for these poor buggers that get hundreds of thousands of dollars to run around playing VFL…The_President wrote:Blokes like Bruce, Hickey & Dunstan would be dirty.

What is the minimum impact from Bruce before he could be considered for AFL selection? Hasn't had a kick in two weeks in VFL by the sounds of things.

Sandringham 17.11 (113) def. Collingwood 12.21 (93) at Trevor Barker Beach Oval, Round 3, 2017.
Goals: McCartin 7, Marshall 2, Lonie 2, Long, Savage, Answerth, Cook, Dunstan, Weickhardt.
Best: McCartin, Lonie, Savage, Rice, Wright, Dunstan.
Form guide:
Sandringham has slipped to seventh following two successive losses and most recently the 98-point loss to Footscray last Saturday night. In a game that VFL coach Lindsay Gilbee described as “most un-Sandringham like”, the Zebras will be focused on a return to the winner’s list knowing they’ve already had a win over the Magpies this year.
In contrast, Collingwood has endured a season to forget thus far having lost their past five games and their only win for 2017 coming in round one against Coburg. The Magpies have come close in recent weeks, evidenced by the round six loss to Box Hill where Jared Rivers’ side led by five points at three quarter time.

Minchington playing in this team doesn't not bode well for his position this friday

Yes it looks like he has been dropped again. He's just not allowed into the midfield where he is best suited.Proph3t of egan wrote:Minchington playing in this team doesn't not bode well for his position this friday

Ok so besides Weickhardt this is a full blown Saints reserves side.
I really don't understand all the fuss over having a stand alone team. This side is already a stand alone side.
Have a look at it. All Saints. Lindsay Gilbee is coach.
Completely our side.

In addition, the Zebras have a few Excellent VFL players from time to time that lift the standard and we bring in the odd kid that's not on the list we like to look at.
It's in the SE corridor
A proud club with a proud history.
It's a huge win
