How shocking, a good kick in front of your leading forward and you can kick goals... Paddy would have 5 off the same delivery Stringer's had

Total rubbish effort. We have gone back three years. Richo must have gone home after the first quarter as there were just a bunch of individuals running around like headless chickens

The confirmation for me was after our 2009 and 2010 finals series. He was poor and so was Dal Santo and lost me then as a player when the team was so close to that elusive glory. His media mates pump him up to the point that it is truly annoying and probably has made him believe the crap they spin that he's an elite St Kilda champion. The reality is put both Montagna and Dal Santo together and you don't get half a Selwood. Montagna is and always has been our bruise-free footy king. He is now clogging up a spot for developing a future player.mullet wrote:he should be starring today with Jack Steven being tagged.SuperSaint wrote:Time to retire Montagna. What a pathetic option for a senior player and leader.
Montagna is in our best few players today...
Dragit you are one of the more constructive posters here and like reading your thoughts. I know he has had 30 odd possessions today as you pointed out but he has had minimal impact on the game. He should be much better being the senior player he is but often plays like this. He is great at picking up the cheap, easy possessions that look ok on paper but don't make much of an impact on the game.

He's out with concussion at present. I'd have him in the team over Mav any time - he gives real forward pressure, and can be guaranteed to get a fluke goal all the time.mullet wrote:anyone know why wright cant get a game

missed the first quarter. Did Sinclair get injured? Did not see him once.

Great effort disposal poor. LIke many others on the list. Might be a chance next game given our form.mullet wrote:anyone know why wright cant get a game
