he's been super impressive, especially considering the fact (by his own admission) he's played very little as a forward prior to this year..

In regards to him vs paddy. I'e only seen the one game sandy v coburg, and it's fair to say that paddy was BOG and has kicked more goals in the VFL for the year, but Marshall is very impressive for such a raw rookie!

Can't say as the games I have seen him he has basically been playing as a key forward. You get the feeling that the club wants to really develop his forward skills as a priority at present and I think it was Richo that made such a comment on Marshall several weeks back.

Pierce was given similar treatment, but did not progress much beyond the "useful" but not goodenough level as a forward.
