Magpies hit the front with 10 to play. Hawks could be 17th tomorrow.

Don't do it Kosi. Stay strong.

It's really galling enough sitting here feeling happy they kicked another goal ...

Perfect game really Collingwood playing Box Hill are terrible enough everyone wants Bycks sacked only to win and keep our early pick healthy.

Pick No 2 is looking very gettable at present.

Top 4 at worst.

Agree .
Lions are a lock for pick 1....
But pick 2 is wide open!
At worst we will get pick 4 I reckon.
Hawks have a hard draw.

Today's wishlist: Kangas to knock off Dees. Drops Hawks to 17 and has the added advantage of pegging back one of our finals competitors. Blues to knock off Freo. Keeps Carlton a step ahead of the Hawks, and ditto....

Bombers staying above Hawks.
Just need the Kangas to get up now.

I can never bring myself to go for the Bloose so go Freo.

Don't forget we gave away our worthless fifth round pick but gained North's 4th round pick, all part of the Koby Stevens trade.
Our support must have as its' first priority the defeat of Hawthorn and the success of teams around them on the ladder.
This can be born out by pick 3 being worth 283 points less than pick 2 and pick 4 being 200 points less than pick 3.
It is preferable for North to finish above Hawthorn but have both finish near the bottom of the ladder.
The 3rd fourth round pick for instance is worth 182 points ahead of trade week.
But we would be wise to try to use those points to improve our own first rounder by maybe 2 or 3 places if possible.

North have just pushed them back to 17th (and kept us in the eight)

Though Freo have just pushed us out now and of concern for our pick is that the Blues % is only marginally better than the Hawks now duea big Freo win..

Blues only play the Hawks once and that is the second last game. The Blues may well have a bigger tanking incentive for that game than the the Hawks will.

Found myself barracking for Carlton to beat Fremantle.

Yuk !

Wanted them to pull a game clear of Hawthorn.
I should have known better.
They were not known as Carltank for nothing.
Four goals ahead then, they threw the game in, stopped competing.
Scum !
