Re: Saints v Swans match thread
Hysterical that people on here were trying to claim everything was going great and that Carlton are really a top side.
Carlton are a dog s*** side.
Carlton are a dog s*** side.

Sydney are a 25% better team at least
We are lucky to be this close
WB and Adelaide to come
We are too slow!!!!

This team won't win us our 2nd flag, back to the drawing board for Trout and his cohorts.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
sometimes teams have off days, but the swans pressure is forcing turnovers. missing webster and unless paddy kicks a bag in the last it's a pretty obvious mistake to have dropped Bruce. Just doesn't look nearly ready for afl. we have a problem - trying to make finals means we can't afford to give him time in the ones.

But maybe GWS had an off day when we beat them.
Other sides can off days too.

God there's some hysterical people on here.
Had a bad day to be sure, and got taught a lesson in toughness from an uncompromising team, but it's just that - a bad day at the office.

Is it really the midfield when we're winning the clearances and even in contested ball?jonesy wrote:Wake up call to the 'top 4' merchants. Just a completely underwhelming midfield

This handballing to people under pressure is horse s***.
Say what you want about mckenzie but atleast he looks like breaking he game open.
HOW s*** does a team have to be to have sam gilbert be your best player. He is doing everyting for us.
Abuse of this nature is not welcome on the forum. You're heading in the direction of your posts in the match thread two weeks ago. Enough with the abuse.

There's losses and there's losses. Are you watching all the game? This is an embarrassment. There's no excuse for such a performance. The way the Swans have played they should have been 10 goals up in the 3rd quarter.suss wrote:God there's some hysterical people on here.

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
1. Teams that spread us with kicks can beat us.
2. Melbourne did this to us in Rd 1 and destroyed us with wide kicking.
3. Carlton tried it last week but they are a bottom 4 dog s*** side so we survived.
4. All of you claiming Carlton are a good side need to seriously need to recant from such blatant nonsense.

A 10 goal loss against an interstate bottom 8 side on our own dung heap?suss wrote:God there's some hysterical people on here.

Any respect as a team you muster up with soft wins are undone with pathetic efforts like this
Disgraceful performance

Members and roberton summing up our day - membry gets free, then ball hits him in the shoulder and we lose it. Roberton shanks it along the ground while 20 metres in the clear.
Not positive.

Re: Saints v Swans match thread
Guarantee tony74 will come on and say we were down because of the emotional drain from the Murphy saga and that all is well and that Carlton and Sydney are actually both top 4 sides.
