Brown on buddy according to Adam Kingsley, that would mean Carlisle on Reid, and tippett will play in the ruck with Sinclair, so don't expect him to be parked in the fifty very oftenDave McNamara wrote:Looking at that Swine's team...
Tipsy is one of the game's great under-performers. With his attributes, that bloke is just made for the modern game, and should be an absolute star!!! But he ain't. However, I can't easily see where we get the third tall to cover him, Reid and the Ego, if they all are played forward together(?)
Best guess for how to approach this could be Robbo' to Reid (who is the lightest of the three). The problem is that this robs us of Robbo's drive, especially if Reid plays deep.
Roo would normally be available to drop back from the wing to help, but he's now needed at CHF, as I don't think we'd wanna' leave Paddy as the sole key forward(?) We might have to though, and put Members at CHF, with Acres also dropping forward to that region(?)
This is where we could really do with a mobile marking ruckman who can drop back to help out when needed. But...
Or... we could just kick a bit straighter to our forwards, and on goal...

I consider him an inside player with the attributes of an outside playersaynta wrote:Steven???????Proph3t of egan wrote:Newnes, Sinclair, Billings, Joey are all our outside players playing tomorrow,BigMart wrote:Fair enough on McCartin..he's earned his promotion.... Bruce probably not playing well enough, neither is Maverick imo
We lose some speed and pressure with none of Minch, Long, Lonie, Wright playing forward...
Seb, Dunstan, Steele, Koby, Acres...
That's one too many insiders imo
i think Acres is more of an outside player as well

He really played well when he came to us after he left the orange,Sainter_Dad wrote:I am a dad - so I have my Dad's joke licensetony74 wrote:Maybe Juice just needs to be managed. He has worked pretty hard.
But maybe he has been squeezed.
but recently he's no longer the flavour of the month

Minch has been positive for us and I'd go as far as to say we are playing better this year since Meatball got his spot back. I would've given Gresh a spell.

I think resting Rooey and leaving in the Bruce would have seemed more logical. I'm a bit worried about this week's selections being too much of a gamble. As the old saying goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes true but it's just one bloke out one bloke in on the forward line. Shouldn't. Matter in a well rounded team.

Don't know that I feel we've got the balance right this week...
We seem to have brought in players that don't quite have the same level polish and run

I can't wait for this game.
The Swans won't make it easy, but I think we can get one over them!!
A mate of mine wrote this preview, which I think is worth a read.
