Would like to play Paddy but hard to see who he comes in for if Riewoldt doesn't miss

He not only has not put a foot wrong since coming back, but has just about been our best user of the ball.
He will not be dropped.

Re: Changes v Swines
The big knock on Dunstan from our Saintaional experts has been his lack of possesions for a starting mid.
He racks up 28 in his recall and many want him dropped, talk about the new whipping boy.
In: Savage, Stevens
Out: Webster, Minchington
Would love to see Rooey rested and Paddy get a run and MacKenzie come in for Webster, but the coach seems to like his tried and true at the moment.
Rice cant be far away from a game, perhaps his endurance needs work and he needs to provide a bit more run off half back.
I've only watched him on TV but looks assured with the ball in hand and may make a player.

Webster out
Dunstan stays in goodness 28 possies and some want to drop him? tut tut
Stevens is a lock against Sydney big bodies in midfield
I would lihe to see McKenzie back soon he finished last year fantastic and is playing well @ Sandy
However, Savage needs to be considered
Not sure Minch has done enough but not privy to his role he kicked 0.3 if he kicks 3.0 he's going nowhere
Think Gresh is doing enough to stay in but didn't kick a goal either
Roo well its up to Roo
Was feeling Bruce could have a spell but he did enough against Carlton
Loving so many choices in a competitive outfit its so exciting

Re: Changes v Swines
I think Paddy will play, has too, Gresh may be managed, also maybe Skunky managed as well!!!!
It is that 'managed' time of the season, after all and aside from HickleDick, we haven't really managed anyone else. Whilst the Coaching Staff/Club will want to win the next games, im sure they would except 1 win from the next two games, if that makes sense!!!!!

Re: Changes v Swines
Bruce has to go out and learn how to mark again - and move a bit more - McCartin to come back. I'd omit Weller, didn't have much of a game, for Stevens, who must come back in. And I'm diggin' on Mackenzie for Webster. I'd love to see Gilbert dropped eventually. He's one of the couple need to not be able to make the side if we are to march on. He lost us one flag with poor disposal and won't win us another.
Out:
Bruce
Webster
Weller
Gilbert

McCartin

Well I hope they are at least having the ceremony at half-time then!dals_da_bomb wrote: and a wedding in the afternoon.
.
PS: Luckily I have only ever had a wedding clash with a St Kilda Game once and fortunately in was at the Police Academy when we were playing at Waverley. So I was able to go the wedding ceremony, drive the game only missing he first quarter and then back to the reception after the game.

Re: Changes v Swines
Ive missed plenty.
PLENTY.
I havent made many games at all over the last few years. I blame the kids. They are still young. Up until this year too young IMO (and i respect we all have differences) to take them - one just turned 3 and the other is 4.
Plus i can get a little feral so Im partially to blame.
But i NEVER miss a game on the tv. If I do i record it and im not to far behind.
But this saturday will drive me insane.
Im not going to be able to watch it til Sunday. Im going to need to turn everything off.
Plus im so excited for this week!

Re: Changes v Swines
some posters here either don't watch the matches or know nothing about football.
Dunstan, Weller and Gilbert are too important to our structure and will not be dropped.
Out: Webster (inj), Minchington
In : Stevens and either DMac if we want more run or McCartin if we want more marking power in the forwards.
It would work with Roo on the wing and going forward when Paddy is off the groind.

Yeah, that's the problem and has been part of the reason Paddy has been playing VFL(as well as development and lesser extent, form)!!!!!bigcarl wrote:Will his dodgy knee allow him to play wing?longtimesaint wrote: It would work with Roo on the wing and going forward when Paddy is off the groind.

Re: Changes v Swines
Tough decisions for the selectors
Stevens is a must in...
Personally would like to see Roo take a week off (his lateral movement was almost non existent looks to be playing sore.) It's time to give Paddy a go either this week or next
Weller has been below his best maybe Stevens can play his role.
We will really miss Webster , we need both he and Roberton off half back, if the theory of like for like and form is correct then Savage should come in but personally I'm a fan of giving a new player a chance in a big game , it like to see what Rice has to offer

That will change. You can't and shouldn't avoid iPads/smart phones etc - they are a necessary evil. My kids have to do some of there homework on iPads - makes it tricky at bedtime!dals_da_bomb wrote:Im old school SP

As for your kids being a nightmare- that's just the programming they all have. If they were all well behaved and not half their life feral imagine how overpopulated the world would be?!
