DOCKERS NOT TALKING ON FYFE SAINTS DEAL

Monday, 1 May 2017

A Perth radio station has claimed Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe has agreed a multi-million dollar deal to play with St Kilda from next AFL season.

The Dockers have declined to comment on the veracity of the claim, attributed to a loose-lipped Saints board member.

Brad Fitzgerald, co-host of the 'Carmen Fitzi' program on WA-based radio station 96FM, said he had a 'massive scoop' on the future of the 2015 Brownlow medallist.

'The offer is worth $1.5 million a season and it is - as far as legally wise - it's virtually accepted,' he said on Monday morning.

'He can't sign yet but it's basically a done deal and he is going to St Kilda.'

Fitzgerald said he had been told the news by a Saints executive.

'I can't name names but this has come from a high-ranking board member of St Kilda,' he said.

I think it's a "beat up" but you never know.
We are not likely to know until the end of the season unless he re-signs with the shockers,

Nat Fyffe is a fine player, and seems a quality bloke too. However, I'd prefer us to err on the side of caution, and not sell the farm to recruit him.

I didn't think we owned "the "farm at Seaford, just leased it, so how could we sell it.

It must be true. Nat Fyffe to Saint Kilda!

If they start building a helipad at Moorabbin during the renovations, we know we've landed him. He needs somewhere to park his 'copter!

Fyfe has a genuine reason to come to us. He wants a flag and wants to shove us Ro$$y Lyin at the same time

If the captain is not enthusiastic after an "after the final siren" win then there are serious issues at the club.
