Buddy incident
While the media finds inventive new ways for blaming St Kilda for
Marc Murphy sledging/spitting on a prostrate Jake Carlisle, did anyone
see Buddy do a drive-by head punch to Sam Durdin with three minutes
to go in the third quarter? It put Durdin on the ground, clutching his face,
yet the Fox commentary team didn't seem to notice it.
Needless to say Paul Roos wouldn't have noticed it either.
But it should get looked it. Should get a week.

Re: Buddy incident
It was a vicious headbutt by Durdin who's now looking at some serious time off by the tribunal whilst that pillar of the game Franklin and his team deserve an award to facing adversity... perhaps more scholarship concessions?

Re: Buddy incident
It was a cheap shot behind play just like he did in the melbourne game .
The mrp will look at it but just like the melbourne game it will be insufficient force and he'll get off

Re: Buddy incident
Sydney have now beaten Brisbane who are the 2017 easy beats and North Melbourne who, after going to 10-0 in 2016 have since won 4 of 20 games
So, regardless, we have to beat them this week

Not much in it. Open hand and the North player dropped pretty easily.

Carlisle has the height but not the tank or mobility.

who is Mr Fixit, I thought Carlisle will go to Buddy, because NJ Brown cannot move quickly enoughstonecold wrote:Probley Mr FixIt, Devo, with Robbo giving a chop out!!!!!ace wrote:Who plays on him.dragit wrote:Everyone will be shocked to hear that 'bud' has been cleared.

I reckon Jake the Snake will run with Buddy, with our HBF offering support:
either Newnes, or DMack/Savage
running to spots where Buddy runs to
This will be a real test for our new improved Back 6, who got felt up by the Cats and Wet Coke (thanks to umps, and slow mids like Dunstan)
I hope the coaching oracles leave out Dunstan, and bring in Koby and DMack.
Savage has done his dash, we know what he brings to the table; DMack had another pre-season and as a youngie,
every pre-season should bring a quantum leap in improvement on their base performance.
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

I think he or she is referring to Gilbert, Buddy tracks up the wing and doubles back often with his run kicking them from the square. I dont think Carlisle can match him there. Gilbert has height, speed and lays a solid bloody tackle. Gets the nod from me, Buddy is s*** aerially so we dont have to worry too much about marking.WellardSaint wrote:who is Mr Fixit, I thought Carlisle will go to Buddy, because NJ Brown cannot move quickly enoughstonecold wrote:Probley Mr FixIt, Devo, with Robbo giving a chop out!!!!!ace wrote:Who plays on him.dragit wrote:Everyone will be shocked to hear that 'bud' has been cleared.

Spot on Griggsy ... Jake likely to take him when he goes deep, Gilbert when he runs up toward wing , (someone else to chop out when Gilbo goes in the ruckGriggsy wrote:I think he or she is referring to Gilbert, Buddy tracks up the wing and doubles back often with his run kicking them from the square.
