Terrible news Playon.

My main advice is take joy where you can, in your family, in the Saints.

You know what most pleases you and so indulge.

I know from my brother in law's recent battle that your wife will probably, and naturally, be very focused on your treatment options. And this is required. But based on my BIL make sure you take the time to enjoy and engage with those that you love and with what you love. By doing so both you and your family will enjoy some special times, some precious times and create memories that will last on.

When doctors give a prognosis, they are making an educated guess and taking a gamble.

Stay positive and strong, live life with joy and hope, because without hope, we are nothing.

A good mate of mine was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer a few years back, and he refused to give in.
Spent a lot of money on going to Europe for cutting-edge treatment.
His oncologist was upset at the "insult" to his years of training in medicine, the fact that
my friend didn't believe him and chose to challenge the prognosis.
My friend returned to Oz in remission.
The ahole oncologist grudgingly asked him for the email address of the German specialists,
and my friend told him to stick it, as "you were 100% against me going over"

In short, fight and fight and FIGHT and make your mark.

I don't really know what to say someone who has received such devastating news except that you are not gone yet and people have survived this type of prognosis. We'll all be cheering for you. Best wishes
