If we could kick straight for goal, we'd win the flag. Unfortunately we can't hit the side of a barn most times. How demoralising to continually see easy shots misses. Late in the term we let them in again. Roo, Newnes and Steven all missed straightforward shots.

That's just footy 2017-style. The concept of dropping the ball seems to have been discarded by the umps. GWS have developed a strategy based on dropping the ball when tackled. I noticed it against the Dogs and this week too. The AFL will need to take a close look at it.

He hasn't been able to kick for the last 7 years so I doubt it will suddenly happen tonight. He is good at getting the ball though, pity his disposal is woeful.

Forwards flying for the same ball, kicking out of defence horrible late. Kicking for goal as usual. We lack class/silk, we are 2 class mids off being a top 4 side, but do we find them ?

This is a very winnable game , we just need some poise, but where will it come from?

Good atmosphere Bruce hitting packs hard don't like this kick it to roo obsession. Steven brilliant as usual.
