Would be amazing...while many say it's not possible the longer he puts off committing the more likely he will be a saint.
Can't see anyone else attractive enough or with enough money to compete with us...
Best thing is we may get him for hawks pick which would be just fantastic....

Wow if true...
I think it was Jaxons who quoted that Fyfe had already signed for the Dockers earlier this year.
Who knows!

A PERTH radio station has claimed Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe has agreed a multi-million dollar deal to play with St Kilda from next AFL season.
The Dockers have declined to comment on the veracity of the claim, attributed to a loose-lipped Saints board member.
Brad Fitzgerald, co-host of the ‘Carmen & Fitzi’ program on WA-based radio station 96FM, said he had a “massive scoop” on the future of the 2015 Brownlow medallist.
“The offer is worth $1.5 million a season and it is – as far as legally wise – it’s virtually accepted,” he said on Monday morning.
“He can’t sign yet but it’s basically a done deal and he is going to St Kilda.”

Longer and hawks or saints first rounder to freo for Fyfe

Even better if we don't use any picks. We only need to trade if Freo match our offer. The Recruit wrote:Would be amazing...while many say it's not possible the longer he puts off committing the more likely he will be a saint.

So we would need Freo to finish very low so that RFA Comp would be very good. Otherwise Freo would probably want us to trade our two first rounders for him.

I don't think they would get both...longer is exactly what they need and pick 1-6 is also pretty good

Based on the size of our offer the compensation pick they would receive may be better than what we could give them any way.

It is only a rumour, but at least it is a rumour that we like
If it has any substance too, it could just be that an offers was made, rather than actually having been agreed too.

I did not state that they would get both. But rather that if they finish low on the ladder that the RFA compo in terms of draft pick could then temp them enough to not match the offer to try and force a trade instead.

What I don't like about this is that it supposedly came from the mouth of a Saints executive.

Fyfe to St Kilda deal done?
http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2017 ... aints-deal
A Perth radio station has claimed Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe has agreed to a multi-million dollar deal to play with St Kilda from next AFL season.
The Dockers have declined to comment on the veracity of the claim, attributed to a loose-lipped Saints board member.
Brad Fitzgerald, co-host of the 'Carmen & Fitzi' program on WA-based radio station 96FM, said he had a "massive scoop" on the future of the 2015 Brownlow medallist.
"The offer is worth $1.5 million a season and it is - as far as legally wise - it's virtually accepted," he said on Monday morning.
"He can't sign yet but it's basically a done deal and he is going to St Kilda."
Fitzgerald said he had been told the news by a Saints executive.
"I can't name names but this has come from a high-ranking board member of St Kilda," he said.

Not good hat this got leaked but EXACTLY who we need. LOL i literally just said we wouldnt get a gun. Fyfe to saints puts us into top 4 contention. He is that good. A contested skilled beast. Perfect. And only 25?? 6-9 years at least in em.
Reiwoldt and Montagna going atound again and good support of depth with some luck (as in gws dogs crows trouble) we have a slight chance in 2018/2019

I hope Fyfe hasn't accepted on the condition we keep our mouths shut until after the season. Regardless, I'm sure he is going to be far from impressed with the leak. Well done to the d**khead that leaked it, they may have stuffed it up. Hope, in fact I expect, whoever it is to be shown the door.

If the boys keep playing like they did Saturday Fyfe will have to earn his stripes with some solid form in the twos. Minchington will be spewing. Just when he'd nailed a spot, too,

What I do know is that the Saints have been planning to land a gun or two in about 2018 for years, and logic would mean order to land a gun for 2018 that they must have by now have been in srious discussion with someone or someones. If not then it will not happen in 2018 (as in land a gun).
