Longtimesaint,
I don't think our regular 2 ruckmen are setting the world on fire - and how is it that Holmes got games ahead of Pierce?
Pierce will be contributing around the ground - more so than Holmes and Longer.

- rain expected, so marking around the ground not an issue
- Holmes bigger body/taller than the Tiger ruckman and could compete better

Didn't you know, were like the Australian cricket team back in their hey day, we can afford to rotate our players because out goes one champ and in comes another. We have a surplus of best players and Steele's 10 tackles last week are easily covered.Impatient Sainter wrote:If he gets dropped over Dunstan then Richo has major issues!tony74 wrote:I reckon Jack Steele might be ready for a rest.

In fairness, Steele was excellent in the first half and did basically nothing in the second half. So who knows, maybe he does need a rest if he's getting cooked. Remember he missed some time with the foot injury.Playon wrote:Didn't you know, were like the Australian cricket team back in their hey day, we can afford to rotate our players because out goes one champ and in comes another.
